Alexander Wang FALL 2013 FULL LOOKBOOK

I think you have already knew that Alexander Wang was named the creative director at Balenciaga since his last runway. This collection of him maybe can give you a clearer view of how a 29-year-old American designer found Balenciaga, instead of Balenciaga found him.

The usage of premium fabrics such as embroidered leather appliqués on alpaca, new-age silhouettes in terms of he took the burgeoning trend in a higher level were shown in his classic 'Wang's colours'.
Fur mittens and heavy ribbed knit formed an oversized shape, dropped-waisted coats, cross-waistband detailing gives an unexpected touch at the midsection.
More generally, Wang was fixated on roundness and blurriness. "A reaction," he said, "to the graphic slickness and flat angularity" of his last collection.
As usual, his accessories are always the 'it-items' to highlight his collection, even bridging to the next season. The pair of furry boxing gloves defiantly is flying off the runway and directly into cool girls' closets.

I do not know how do you think of this collection, but right now, I cannot WAIT to see his debut for Balenciaga in Paris! Stay tuned with me, everybody!
